Before administering your JustGetTested kit please read the directions entirely.

  • Your customer ID number (barcode sticker) should be kept in an easy to access safe place for future reference.

  • Once you complete the test discard the kit (except the "keep for your records" portion of patient information form).

 

It is important to send the kit through FedEx within the 48 hours of taking your specimens. 

 

After the evaluation of the samples at the lab you will get your results sent to your email within 3-5 business days.

JustGetTested does not take the place of traditional gynecological care. JustGetTested is an alternative way to access gynecological health care testing at home, our kit can screen for STD’s, STI's, HPV, Bacterial Vaginosis, and Yeast infections. JustGetTested is for females ages 18-65 who:

  • are sexually active have been sexually active and do not have access to visit a gynecologist on a routine basis. 

  • those who prefer not to visit a gynecologist, doctor or clinic for any personal or religious reasons for cell evaluation, STD, and HPV screening.​

JustGetTested is NOT designed for women who:

  • Are pregnant

  • Have or Had vaginal cancer, uterine cancer , cervical cancer. 

  • Experience or have experienced irregular uterine bleeding.

  • Currently have a IUD in place

 

Important Information: Before using your kit

  • For the best outcome you must carefully read and follow the directions. JustGetTested takes no responsibility for misuse of our product/s and/or any of its components.

  • Do not use this kit if the seal is broken, items inside are compromised contact us at info@justgettested.org or use our live chat option.  

 

  • Each kit has an expiration date, make sure it is administered before that date and that all of the items are in the box. For a replacement kit you can contact us at info@justgettested.org or use our live chat option.

Collecting your samples:

  • Anytime between 10 to 20 days after day one of your menstrual cycle. Women who are postmenopausal can screen at anytime.  

 

  • If you are experiencing bleeding or your are on your menstrual cycle do not test during this time. 

 

  • If you are experiencing any significant change in vaginal bleeding or discharge you should visit a doctor or clinic for examination.

  • 48 hours prior to your at home screening avoid tampons, creams, foams, intravaginal medication because these products  may affect results.

Once you have collected the specimen to send to our lab keep them out of extreme heat. Keep stored in room temperature between 59°F – 86°F (15°C – 30°C) and ship them out within 48 hours of your self testing.

 

Waiting on Results:

  • Once our lab receives your JustGetTested specimen sample/s they will evaluate them and send you your results via email within 3-5 business days. 

  • If its been more than 2 weeks with out receiving your results contact us at info@justgettested.org or use our live chat option

  • In the event that you do receive your test results and they are abnormal (positive for an STD/STI) we will have a doctor reach out to your with a treatment plan, however you should then contact your primary doctor to inform them.   • In the event that the lab receives your collection kit and they can not be processed due to screening/collection quality, kit damage customer service will contact you and send you a new kit and no additional charge.
